I bought a Kindle for my trip to Europe and decided to add these international Gomadic charger, after I discovered my Kindle came only with a U.S. plug. Thank God I did! After reading that you can not use, any old power to USB converter to the mains off Kindle charging power in Australia I ordered this International Wall / AC Charger for my mother. It has the charger for a little while now and had said, it works great and she believes it loads faster than the Kindle via the USB port on your computer, so she is very happy.

When I received my Kindle from Amazon. com, (I live in the Netherlands), I usually charge it through my computer with a USB cable. This took far too long! As I searched the Internet to find to buy a suitable battery charger, the Netherlands, for my Kindle, I could not find any that was quite affordable. But the charger from Gomadic is really good quality for a great price. Now my Kindle is to be recharged in about 2 hours! And with the extra connector, you can recharge your Kindle almost everywhere!

If Kindle first came to Australia there is, in my p. could be recharged c. USB – very effective and very satisfctory except when I left home (I’m in the hospital or travel for example).
Now it is possible to charge from any outlet – even when traveling abroad.
cheap, efficient and convenient, as long as you always make sure your connections are secure.
